Excessive flow results in waste, and the flow channel is easy to block. If it is too small, it will affect the use, increase the non-fermentation time, and cause unfavorable phenomena such as damage to the deflector due to excessive pressure. Therefore, the selection should be scientifically selected according to the working conditions.
The plate thickness of the plate heat exchanger is only 0.6~0.8mm, and the thickness of the heat exchange tube of the shell and tube heat exchanger is 2.0~2.5mm; the shell of the shell and tube heat exchanger is heavier than the layout of the plate heat exchanger many. Under the condition of completing the same heat exchange task, the heat exchange area required by the plate heat exchanger is smaller than that of the shell and tube heat exchanger.
The layout of the shell and tube heat exchanger is excellent in terms of strength, but it is not ideal from the point of view of heat exchange, because there are baffle-shell, baffle-exchange when the fluid moves in the shell side Heat pipes, pipes - bypasses between shells. The fluid passing through these bypasses does not fully participate in heat exchange. In the plate heat exchanger, there is no bypass, and the corrugation of the plate can make the fluid turbulent at a small flow rate. Therefore, the plate heat exchanger has a higher heat transfer coefficient, which is usually 3 to 5 times that of the shell and tube heat exchanger.
