According to the form of the heat exchanger, there should be enough space at both ends of the plate heat exchanger to meet the needs of condition (operation) cleaning and maintenance. When the fixed tube sheet heat exchanger is installed, sufficient space should be left at both ends so that the tubes can be extracted and replaced. Also, when mechanically cleaning the inside of the tube, both ends of the tube can be brushed. The fixed head end of the floating head heat exchanger should have enough space to be able to extract the tube bundle from the shell, and the outer head end must also leave more than one meter for the installation and removal of the outer head cover and the floating head cover. The fixed head cover of the U-shaped tube heat exchanger should leave enough space to extract the tube bundle, and also leave enough space at the opposite end to allow the shell to be disassembled.
When chemical cleaning is used, chemical cleaning should be prepared separately according to the actual conditions and water quality.
Since the difficulty of cleaning increases rapidly with the increase in the thickness of the scale layer or deposition, the cleaning interval should not be too long. It should be regularly based on the characteristics of the production device, the properties of the heat exchange medium, the corrosion rate and the operation cycle. Inspect, repair and clean.
